  • Browser Data: Standard browser information (user agent, screen size) for compatibility and feature detection.
  • Local Storage: Your scenes, settings, and preferences are stored locally in your browser. We do not have access to this data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Grant you access to the Mock Band application
  • Send critical updates about the service (security, breaking changes)
  • Notify you about new features and improvements (you can opt out)
  • Improve application compatibility and performance

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is handled with care:

  • Email Storage: Stored securely and never shared with third parties.
  • Browser Storage: All scenes, MIDI mappings, and settings are stored locally in your browser using localStorage and IndexedDB.
  • No Tracking: We do not use analytics, tracking cookies, or third-party advertising.

  • Clear all local data by clearing your browser's localStorage

Mock Band uses a single cookie for early access authentication. This cookie:

  • Contains no personal information
  • Is not shared with third parties
  • Is required for application access

6. Third-Party Services

Mock Band does not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The application runs entirely in your browser using Web Audio API and WebMIDI.

Mock Band is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
